Terms of use
Last updated 9 June 2026 · Public beta
Plain terms for the Ploca public beta. By downloading or using the beta, you agree to what follows.
i.The beta
Ploca is pre-release software offered free of charge during a public beta that runs until 30 August 2026. The beta may change, pause, or end, and specific features may be added or removed during this period. We will give reasonable notice of a planned end where we can.
ii.Provided as is
The beta is provided as is, without warranties of any kind, express or implied. Beta software can contain defects. To the maximum extent allowed by law, Ploca is not liable for any loss or damage arising from your use of the beta, including lost work or data. Keep your own copies of anything important.
iii.Acceptable use
Use Ploca lawfully. Do not redistribute the build, resell it, or attempt to disable the beta-status check in order to circumvent the beta period. You may inspect how the app works; that is encouraged. You may not use Ploca to break the law or to infringe the rights of others.
iv.Your content
Everything you dictate stays on your Mac. We never receive it, so we claim no rights over it and take no responsibility for it. What you write is yours.
v.Your email
If you give us your email to download the beta, our handling of it is described in the privacy statement. You can unsubscribe or ask for deletion at any time.
vi.Changes and contact
We may update these terms as the beta evolves, with the date above reflecting the latest version. These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, United States. Questions go to hey@ploca.app.
